**Minutes of the BRaS (Brazilian Research and Studies Center) Meeting – March 22nd, 2024, 14:00 German Time**

**Agenda:**

1. Blog Updates (Matheus Hebling):

Matheus Hebling presented on the status of the blog, noting that there haven’t been any updates or new texts received. He highlighted that the postings regarding opportunities are progressing well. Hebling will re-design the Home-page and revome unecessary information.

2. Website and Social Media Analytics (Matheus Zago):

Matheus presented the statistics of the website and social media platforms. He provided information into the traffic statistics, engagement metrics, and growth patterns observed over recent months.

3. Workshop Update (Thomas):

Thomas presented the finalized list of participants for the upcoming workshop. There are a total of 11 proposers, organized into 3 panels. Additionally, Thomas provided an overview of the workshop program:

April 16th
– Opening Remarks:
– 1-1:15pm (Germany) | 9-9:15am (Brazil)
– Profa. Vanessa Elias de Oliveira (ABCP) and Prof. Thomas Kestler (BRaS)
Keynote Speech:
– 1:15-7:30pm (Germany) | 9:15-10:30am (Brazil)
– Prof. Tigo Rohlfing (University of Passau) will deliver a speech on *… (title)*
– Coffee-break:
– 2:30-3pm (Germany) | 10:30-11am (Brazil)

The opening session and speeches will be open to the public. Following this, there will be three panels (for the PhD students):

Panel 1 – April 16th

– Executive, Legislative and Political Parties:
– 3-5:30pm (Germany) | 11am-1:30pm (Brazil)

Panel 2 – April 17th

– Public Policies and Federalism:
– 1-3pm (Germany) | 9-11am (Brazil)

Panel 3 – April 17th
– Judicial Institutions:
– 3:30-4:30pm (Germany) | 11:30am-12:30pm (Brazil)

During these panels, PhD students will present their topics, and discussions about their research will take place. This event is private, but there will be consideration for allowing external attendees.

4. BRaS Journal Progress (Matheus and Eric):
Matheus and Eric presented the progress of the BRaS Journal. They discussed the ongoing peer review process for the article received, outlining the steps being taken for its review and potential publication.

With all agenda items addressed, the meeting adjourned at 14:35. The next BRaS session is scheduled for April 26th (Friday), at 14:00 German Time.
