Agenda:

1. Welcome to New Members

Thomas Kestler welcomed Marcia Schafer and Karina Caladrin, who recently joined BRaS.

2. Updates on Group and Completed Tasks*

The group members shared updates on the activities undertaken since the last meeting and discussed the progress of ongoing tasks.

3. Updates on the Blog and Social Media

It was reported that the group is in the process of creating an account on the Instagram Treads platform to expand its presence on social media and reach a wider audience.

4. Website and Journal Status

Matheus Zago informed the group that access to Google Analytics was lost after a Google update, but he is in contact with support to revalidate access as soon as possible. He also mentioned that he is organizing a meeting with the team to revamp the main page of the BRaS website, aiming to enhance user experience and make the platform more appealing.

5. Contributions

Marcia Schafer volunteered to write a contribution to the BRaS Blog. She plans to address the relevance of her current research, focusing on topics related to disabled individuals and democracy. Karina Caladrin expressed her interest in assisting with the editorial work for the BRaS Journal, particularly in the area of gender studies. All members showed support for these initiatives.

6. Distribution of Flyers at Events

The distribution of promotional flyers at events related to BRaS research was discussed, aiming to promote the center’s activities and attract new participants.

Next Meeting:

It was decided that the next BRaS meeting will be held on August 25, Friday, at [14:00 German time].
