BRaS-Blog and Boletim Lua Nova – Special Meeting – October 23, 2020

Introduction

The committee responsible for BRaS-Blog met online on Friday, October 23, 2020, at 7 pm (Berlin time) with the members of Boletim Lua Nova to discuss the partnership between both organizations. The meeting was conducted by Matheus Hebling (BRaS) and Giovanna Imbernon (BRaS) was in charge of the minutes. Lucas Baptista (Boletim Lua Nova) and Andréia Cardoso (Boletim Lua Nova) also attended the meeting.

Publications

Attempting to plan how the joint publications will work, the groups started the meeting discussing what the expectations and objectives are, so they could address some more practical questions.

Regarding the schedule, the parties agreed to publish texts twice per month, using texts previously selected and one original text per month. This way, both parties will publish one (1) text translated and available at the other party’s website and one (1) original text. On the date and exact procedures, e.g., day of the week, each party shall decide it and communicate the other one. BRaS-Blog and Boletim Lua Nova will negotiate the translation of texts other than those previously agreed.

To arrange the next steps, a spreadsheet was created on Google Sheets so the members can have access to the planning.

After all the aforementioned subjects the next meeting was not scheduled and both parties will decide it later by e-mail.
